Turley Zinfandel California Juvenile 2003 Tasting Notes

This is a fruit forward, dense wine, with firm tannins. Cassis and ripe blueberry mixed with ripe plum, dried cherries, chocolate dominate. Marmalade and mincemeat mix with a jammy richness to make this a robust effort. Color is inky and ruby. Does not quite have the finesse of some of the other Turley zins, but wonderful all the same.
