Wine tasting parties work in much the same way as any type of in home party. Instead of buying candles or kitchen accessories, you and your guests will be buying wine and wine accessories.

Hosting a Wine Tasting Party

As the host of a Traveling Vineyard wine tasting party, you don't have to worry about choosing the wine or even providing the glassware. A consultant will bring the following items to your home:

• Five different bottles for the tasting, chosen by the wine consultant, at no cost to you.
• The appropriate amount and type of wine glasses.
• A variety of wine accessories, such as bottle openers and wine chillers.

What You and Your Guests Will Learn

During the one to two hour course of a wine tasting, the consultant will guide you and your guests through a few wine essentials, such as:

• The basics of food and wine pairing
• Wine tasting techniques
• Red and white wine tasting notes
