Marcassin Pinot Noir Blue Slide Ridge Vineyard 2002 Reviews
From LoveToKnow Wine
Producer: Marcassin
Grape Varietal: Pinot Noir
Vineyard Designation: Blue-Slide Ridge Vineyard
Year: 2002
Price: 100
Tasting Notes:
This was a powerful wine, but also has much finesse. Ripe blackberry, jam, and anise highlighted a very well rounded wine. It has a touch of the high alcohol and sweetness that characterizes many of winemaker Helen Turley's wines. This Pinot is expensive but certainly one of a small handful of Americas great pinot noir's.
