Elderton Shiraz Barossa 2003 Tasting Notes
This is the junior bottle to the better and more expensive "Command" Shiraz. The flavors are black, ripe fruit and spice. Plum, chocolate and vanilla dominate.

The wine is aged for 12-14 months in American and French oak. Good to drink now as no cellaring is really required, but should be good for 4-8 years.
This vintage was smaller than normal, but the wines had good intensity and color.
Parker scores this wine a 91 and notes the "great fruit, huge body, sweet tannin and long finish."
