Corton Charlemagne

Corton-Charlemagne is amoungst the absolute best of the French white burgundies. It is noted for its deep golden color, concentrated fruit and deep honey-like taste. It is made from the chardonnay grape. The vinyards are located on the Montagne de Corton, which is near Aloxe-Corton. These wines do best after 7 years of cellaring.
